Mark A. Goldberg | President

Mark Goldberg has more than thirty years experience in real estate development selecting sites, acquiring land, supervising design and construction, leasing, brokerage and property management. Relationships with top retailers such as King Soopers, Albertsons, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Kohls and Lowes have led to shopping centers anchored by these and other nationally recognized merchants. He has been a leader in the International Council of Shopping Centers, serving two terms as Director of the Rocky Mountain Region and one as Western Division Governmental Affairs Chairman. Mr. Goldberg has taught a class at the University of Colorado Graduate School in Real Estate Development. His hands-on approach to managing the firm’s portfolio has earned the confidence of clients, as well as the respect of government officials, who are playing an increasingly important role in approving and financing developments. Grant R. Nelson | Vice President

Grant Nelson has a long and successful brokerage career, which brought him to work at Goldberg in 2000 and allowed him to shift his primary focus into the development arena. Mr. Nelson currently oversees the development of approximately one million square feet of retail space, with an estimated value of $86.8 million. He is actively involved in site acquisition, major anchor lease/site negotiation, preformed modeling, entitlement, and construction of the developments. Mr. Nelson has extensive experience in retail brokerage and development, and this lends to his strong relationships with tenants and landlords alike. He has partnered with Mark Goldberg, creating a team to serve the needs of anyone involved in retail development. Tawnya Snyder | Development Manager

Tawnya Snyder has several years of experience in project management. After earning a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver in 2006, Ms. Snyder joined the Goldberg team as a Development Manager. During her time at Goldberg Properties, Ms. Snyder has managed the construction of a 30,000 square foot office building for the United States Forest Service with a budget of over $5,000,000 in Kalispell, Montana. In addition, she has managed the entitlement of 90 acres in Timnath, Colorado, an 8 acre City Market site and a 40 acre industrial site in Grand Junction, Colorado. In addition, her role as Development Manager includes creating and implementing systems, maintaining project timelines and overseeing all details and personnel within various development projects. Ms. Snyder also holds a Bachelor’s of Science from the Colorado State University and a Colorado Broker’s license. She is active in the community having participated in various mentorship programs including Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Colorado, Colorado Youth at Risk, Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) and Women of Enterprise (WE).
